Survivor Therapy Program

SOSA’s Survivor Therapy Program lets us connect survivors of sexual abuse with experienced therapists who can offer them professional support. We pay for the entire cost of 12 sessions, and provide other help along the way.

Having access to treatment can be life-changing for a survivor, and we believe everyone who’s experienced sexual harm as a child — or has a close connection to child abuse — should be able to have the care they need.

Due to a great deal of interest in this program, we are not currently accepting new applicants. We hope to re-open application soon!

Who qualifies

 

We have purposely made this program available to a variety of people who have been affected by sexual abuse.

  • An adult who needs support for something that happened to them as a child

  • A child who has experienced sexual abuse

  • The spouse, child, or partner of someone who has been convicted of child sex abuse or a relevant crime

  • Other (if you feel you need this support but your situation doesn’t fall under the categories above, reach out and ask about it!)
