Where your gift goes

How donations are used

Prevention

We raise awareness about abuse tactics, train law enforcement, and advise on safer legislation.

Intervention

We partner directly with ICAC detectives and prosecutors to maintain our efficacy and conviction rate.

Support

We support survivors by connecting them with essential resources — and cover the cost of therapy for those who otherwise would have no access to professional support.

01

Survivor therapy

Twelve sessions with a trauma-informed therapist, fully covered, for survivors who would otherwise have no access to professional support.

02

Undercover operations

Travel, preparing a decoy residence, devices and accounts, and the weeks of preparation required to build believable decoys.

03

Free trainings

Sessions for schools, parents, and community groups, and for ICAC departments on building believable undercover accounts.

04

Care packages

Sent to survivors, and to witnesses on the day they testify — a practical sign of support at a difficult moment.

What your gift pays for

Operations in a room like this one

Our team works cases side-by-side with law enforcement, tracking every message as it comes in. Donations cover the house, the devices, and the time it takes to conduct an operation carefully and with precision.

From a survivor

On the therapy program

“It took a long time for me to get to a place where I felt safe enough to start my healing journey, and SOSA opened the door for me. Thank you for doing the searching for me — that was the thing really holding me back.”

Common questions

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. SOSA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and you will receive a receipt by email for your records.

Why are there two forms?

The first form is for all new monthly and one-time donations, from both U.S. and international donors. The second is for credit card round-ups, and for logging into an existing Harness account.

What are the limited-edition prints?

A series of 5"x7" prints created by our own designers. Anyone who signs up for a new monthly donation receives one in the mail, and a brand-new one every six months for as long as they keep donating.

How is this different from a YouTube membership?

Channel memberships are separate. Membership fees cover the cost of making SOSA Undercover episodes. Donations here fund school presentations, trial testimony, therapy for survivors, and more.

How do I cancel a monthly donation?

You can manage a recurring gift from your donor dashboard here. If you started giving before September 2025 or have a credit card round-up donation, you can manage that here. (We moved platforms in 2025, but all older accounts remain.) Or, email info@sosatogether.org and we can handle that for you ASAP.

I have another question.

Email us at info@sosatogether.org and we will be glad to help.

Credit card round-ups

Round up your purchases

Round your card transactions up to the next dollar and send the difference to SOSA. Use this form to sign up, or to log in to an existing Harness account and manage a recurring gift.
